In spite of the crisis, our festival "Moon Cat" 2009 was realized and the audience applauded upright,
so the concert hall for one thousand people was full. The vice-president of the European Council opened the festival.
At last, the title of the Queen of the Festival got a spanish girl. For the first time Mister Festival was elected.
82-year-old catalan won "Karaoke" contest. Paris fashion house "Ilona & David" showed their new collection of evening dresses.
Works of artists from Russia, Spain, Italy, France, Ucraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Japan were presented at the exhibition
of the Festival. |

CATS FROM OVER THE WORLD, LET'S UNITE!!! |

If you want to forget about your age, debts, depression and become a March Cat for one week we’re waiting for you on
the 28th of February 2009 at the Club Festival “Moon Cat” in Spain, in Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava).
Amazing, colorful and original holiday, participants from different countries, painting, sculpture, photo, arts and
crafts expositions, cinema, fashion show “Cats-show”, artists, painters, musicians, discos…
1st March: We meet spring!!! We celebrate International Cat’s Day!!! We’ll have fun during the
“Street Cats’ Ball”, we’ll get prizes, presents and medals “Gold Cat” for the contest “KISS PARADE” (best fancy dress
costume), we’ll elect the Queen of the Festival (the winner gets a golden chain and a cat shaped pendant, Swiss watch
and weekend for two people in a 4-star-hotel in Costa Brava).
2nd March: We’ll search for a treasure, we’ll dance twist, rock’n’roll and tango at “Nostalgie” party, we’ll
applaud the winners during Gala-show “Moon Cat” on the 6th of March, and as well:
- We’ll taste Spanish wines, brandies, cheeses, ham “Jamon”
- We’ll participate in “Karaoke” show
- We’ll go on excursions to Barcelona, Madrid or Nice and Monaco
- We’ll enjoy SPA program “Relax” and rooms of Gold Class in the Guitart Central Park Resort/SPA Hotel 4*
with Full Board “buffet” (wine and water included)

The price (per person in a DBL room): 499 euros
SNGL supplement is 185 euros
Only hotel with full board and wine - 37 euros per day
The price includes:
Programmes 1, 2 and 3 include 4 nights in the hotel Guitart Central Park 4* in high-quality rooms
with full board, and 3 nights in Nice or Madrid or Provance in 3-star hotels with breakfasts,
entrance tickets and excursions, indicated in programme, transfers. Programme 4 includes 7 nights in the hotel
Guiart Central Park 4* in high-quality rooms with full board (wine and water included), transfers, all the activities
and excursions of the programme in English, entrance tickets and visit to SPA center.
The price doesn't include:
medical insurance, excursions in cathedrals and museums, except indicated in the programme, travels by public
transport. Additional price for the jorney in high-speed train ÀÂÅ in programme 3 is 145 euros/person.
Attention:
There can be some changes in the programme, including the order of excursions realization and time of their beginning.
The hotel Guitart Central Park 4* has a big territory, winter swimming-pool, SPA center, center of animation,
parking.

Elections of the Queen of the Festival:
- the fashion show of cat's clothes
- contest "Greeting"
- contest "Cat's walk"
- karaoke contest "Murka" and other surprises
The contest will take place on 1 March 2009 during the "Street cat's ball" party (fancy dress costumes are obligatory).
The best fancy dress costume will be awarded!
The winner will get:
- Queen's crown
- gold chain with a little cat pendant
- special prize of the Organization Committee of the Festival
- a weekend for two in a 4-star hotel in Costa Brava
- diploma of Lloret de Mar city hall

The candidates for the 2nd and the 3rd place will receive encouraging prizes and presents!

IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!!
- The candidates of the competition should be older than 18 years old
- The crown made by Swarovsky factory (Austria) is a challenge prize, and will be stored in the Cat's Museum as
exposition with the photo and the autograph of the winner

AND THE SELECTION OF "MISS FESTIVAL 2009"!!!!
The winners in different nominations will get the medals "Gold Cat" and "Silver Cat", Diplomas of the City Hall of
Lloret de Mar, presents, prizes, including three money prizes (from 300 to 500 euros).

THE TERMS OF THE FESTIVAL |
1. The requests for participation and works should be presented until 10.02.09
2. The works should correspond with the theme "CATS"
3. The main criteria of evaluation of judges are: artistic taste, mastery performance, original and new ideas
4. The results of the competitions with the awarding will take place on the 6th of March during the Gala-Show
"Cats from all over the world, let's unite!" in Palace Athenea (Lloret de Mar)
